This session offers an opportunity to practice Tai Chi exercises for wellness and self-care as a way to improve being with others. It is one thing to say “be calm” and to know how to cultivate calmness. Walden faculty and staff are asked to manage their personal moods, thoughts, and behaviors, while attending to the business of personalizing and flexibly responding to multiple challenging situations every day. Tai Chi training provides a structured way to improve the ability to develop an ego-less mood of peacefulness in order to better attend to, listen to, and connect with others.
