This is just a quick test to show of how the R9 290 would perform with custom reduced settings, of course this card still plays very well at the ultra preset, some people have opted to try custom settings with least image quality reduction in an effort to keep performance very high. I was asked to make this video by a fellow youtube user and i hope this video answers the question to him and any other out there wondering how the R9 290 responds to custom settings. PS not sure why BF4 in game fps counter reads more fps than MSI afterburners OSD function may have something to do with my recording however the FPS is still pretty dam good enjoy
