Pro-Ukraine Militia Leads Cross-Border Raids In Russia's Belgorod

The commander of a pro-Ukrainian Russian militia said his fighters had conducted a two-day raid from Ukrainian territory into the Russian city of Belgorod earlier this week. He further added that more such operations were in the works. The group commander said that he lost two of his fighters during the raid. On the other hand, Russia claimed that it has crushed the attackers, blaming Ukraine for the cross-border attacks. Moscow vowed to respond "swiftly" and "extremely harshly" to such raids in the future.
