Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) isn’t just an adult issue, it happens in kids too. These are the kiddos who have belly pain in the morning, spend hours on the toilet, have constipation or diarrhea (often a mix of both) and pain resolves after pooping. It’s a diagnosis of exclusion, meaning there’s no test but it’s important to be evaluated by a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to make sure these symptoms dont represent signs of another condition.
