National Council of Resistance of Iran Deputy Director Alireza Jafarzadeh says all four candidates for Iranian presidency are all “allegiant” to the Supreme Leader.
His comments follow as Iranians go to the polls to replace President Ebrahim Raisi who was killed in a helicopter crash earlier this year.
“I think the outcome wouldn’t really make much of a difference because in Iran under the Ayatollah the candidates are all vetted and confirmed by the Supreme Leader,” he told Sky News Australia.
