The common supermarket avocado variety is called the Hass. Most people are not aware that there are hundreds of avocado varieties dozens of which are available commercially. In this vid I give a brief history of the Hass and it's cousins: Catalina, Black Prince, Oro Negro, and Hialeah Red. Then I contrast the flavor profiles.
