With the impact of Covid 19 affecting all South Africans, the music and live performance industry has come to a standstill. Our stages are empty and no music festivals are happening, leaving
musicians with virtually no income stream. Statistics, as per “Mail and Guardian”, 41% of artists have sold some of their instruments and equipment to make ends meet, is a shocking statistic. It
has also left a specific sector of society without hope. This is where SAVE OUR STAGES want to do everything we can to help.
