In café, Mariana explains to Gustavo, she has to leave to Caňada Seca. Gustavo is somewhat happy, because the visit of his father is postponed again. Cella tries to talk to Bernarda and prepares her tea, but Bernarda is distracted and only words, which she says, are "She's alive!" Mercedes and Mariana returned to Caňada Seca and they are welcomed by Manuela and RUdy. Gustavo and his co-worker talk about Gustavo's plan to tell Mariana truth. Manuela tells her mother in general, what happened in Rome. Manuela tells her, she fell in love with married man (Fernando), and she had accident on scooter. Teresa is desperate, because Isabel is nowhere to be found, Fernando is in unconsciousness. After a short talk with doctor, nurse brings breaking news, that Fernando awakes from faints. It is obvious, that he hasn't suffered any serious injury, so he is sent home to family cure. Teresa and Leopoldo helps Fernando to move home. Manuela tells Mariana all the details about her relationship with Fernando, including encounter with Fernando's wife (Isabel). Mariana doesn't understand, why Manuela surrended so easily and trusted every word to the woman, who claimed her to be Fernando's wife. Mercedes talks with Rafael and he explains, that love someone and to be married are two separate things. Fernando is home and Emilio welcomes him. They talk about Isabel disappearance. This part listens also Bernarda and moves quickly in her room. Fernando chases her and walks in. Fernando tells Bernarda, what happened on the yacht and that Isabel didn't realized, what is happening. Bernarda's only worry is, if she told anything to Fernando. It is obvious, she hadn't time to do so. Fernando calls doctor Villa, who sympathizes with Fernando. Fernando demands Villa's services, because someone has to care about Bernarda in terms of her mind. Mariana and Manuela discuss Gustavo and Fernando. Fernando seems to be liar, while Gustavo seems to be fair. Chief rescue worker informs Fernando, that the hope to find Isabel alive is pretty little. Cella knocks the door of Bernarda's bedroom. Bernarda has visitor, and it is doctor Villa. Manuela confesses to father José. Father José tries to order Manuela's mind, but when he encounter the fact, that Manuela lost her child, he tries to calm her down and encourage her. Doctor Villa has no interest in curing Bernarda, he tries to break the deal, he has been forced to made. In the middle of argue about the deal, Bernarda throw him out of her bedroom. Doctor Villa explains Teresa, that Bernarda needs few days to recover mentally. Then he leaves. Chief rescue worker informs Fernando, which parts of river has been checked and which will be checked in next days. If Isabel won't be found within one week, the rescue will be stopped and Isabel will be declared dead. Mercedes asks Manuela, if she went to confess to father José. Manuela agrees, she did, but father José wasn't much comprehensive. Emilio talks with Fernando in Fernando's office. As the talk goes, Emilio indirectly accuses Fernando of Isabel's death, because Acuňa didn't checked the yacht and Fernando didn't insisted on full check up of the yacht. Bernarda cut the newspaper article, which deals with unfortunate search of Isabel's body. Lorenzo informs Bernarda, that somebody is waiting for Bernarda in library. He shows her visiting card of doctor Pintos. When Bernarda enters the library, doctor Pintos informs Bernarda, he will be her lawyer in terms of Isabel's inheritance. Luisa brought letter to Rudy. It is obvious, that's letter from girl from Italy, the paper is impregnated with perfume. Bernarda replies to Pintos, there are two major obstacles. Firstly, doctor Villa musn't tell Fernando about his false diagnose and secondly, there can't be any type of inheritance of Isabel, because she is alive.
