Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan was arrested on 5th August after an Islamabad trial court found him guilty of ‘corrupt practices’ in the Toshakhana corruption case and sentenced him to three-year imprisonment. His supporters took to the streets to stage a protest against his conviction & police has started arresting them. Pakistan army has increased the security of army headquarters & other buildings.
