These Tasy Potato Fritters are so easy to make and they contain no eggs
Ingredients
100 grams plain/All purpose flour
2 Teaspoons Baking powder
1/4 pint Soda water
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
4 medium potatoes
Preparation
For the Potato fritter batter
Mix the flour and baking powder and stir
Add the oil and mix
Gradually add the soda water
The batter will froth this is normal
Set aside for minimum 15/20 minutes
Cut potatoes thin approximately 5 mm
You can cut potatoes thick but par boil first for 10 minutes
Wash potato slices and dry with kitchen paper
Coat the potato slices in batter
Deep fry fritters on medium heat until crisp and golden
Place fritters on kitchen paper to drain excess oil
Serve hot.
