Sha’arei Kedusha, Section 1. Lesson 8. Chapter 2. Ruah Energy.
Souls are energy. Nefesh soul is earth-based life-force energy.
Neshama is heaven-based, higher-self energy.
Ruah is in the middle, corresponding to the angelic/demonic realms in Yetzirah.
Energy is a food commodity for those entities we call demonic.
This is why they cultivate negative, harmful personality traits in human beings.
This lowers our psychic frequency and enables those harmful entities to then feed off unsuspecting souls.
Proper behavior and personality attributes are a prerequisite for the proper observance of the Torah and the ascent of the Nefesh soul to Neshama consciousness.
