End of Garden Season -Fall Gardening Tips to help you get ready for winter gardening and next season.

In this video, we share 5 tips to help make the transition to your fall gardening. It is the end of the season and you need to get ready for the next season.

1. Write down what worked and what didn't work in your garden for the past season. Sketch out where you planted your plants and what varieties of plants worked. This will help you with your winter garden

2. Plan your fall/winter crops and get them in with enough time to grow for your fall garden season. Know which plants do best for your area and plan to grow them with enough time before your last frost date.

3. Plan and some projects for your garden. Fall is the best time to get some projects such as raised beds or build a compost bin.

4. Get compost and other organic materials int your garden beds. Fall is a great time to add this to your garden for next season. It will have time to break down in your soil.

5. Overwinter your vegetables if you can. Pepper plants are a great vegetable to overwinter in your garden.
