Members of Parliament have described this year's municipal audit outcomes as worrisome due to a regression in clean audits. Auditor-General Tsakani Maluleke presented the findings to Parliament's Standing Committee on Public Accounts earlier today. While the outcomes indicate a reduction in the number of disclaimers, the AG says more needs to be done to eradicate these audits.
