Yamaha's Big Reveal, The 2017 YXZ1000R SS (SS Stands For "Sport Shift")
Exactly one year ago, Yamaha teased the world with the coming release of the their new Sport UTV, the YXZ. In September when the machine was officially announced more than just insiders and enthusiasts were drawn to what Yamaha had to offer. We tested the stock version in the dunes and the SE version in the wide open desert. It was received very well by people on the West Coast but not so much by others who wanted to drive it in the tighter woods and swamps of the east.

Little did the buying public know, Yamaha had also been developing a paddle shift version that had some extra tricks that would give naysayers what they were looking for.
