This week Sapper Morris-Patterson learns about slinging and signaling the construction of a Heavy Girder Over Bridge (HGOB). Not only does it require accurate crane signaling skills, but also excellent team skills.

This video is the fifth instalment of our vlog collection. It consists of diary type videos created by our Sappers in the Royal Engineers. The first series is created by Sapper Morris-Patterson, who is a Reservist that has just started her Combat Engineers' Foundation Course.

The course is designed for Reservists and is delivered by 3 Royal School of Military Engineering Regiment over a two week period. Compared to the Regular soldiers' Combat Engineer course, which lasts ten weeks.
