The NHRDA is proud to announce that they are partnering with Thoroughbred Diesel to bring diesel fans the 2018 NHRDA Thoroughbred Diesel Throwdown. This first time event will take place June 22nd and 23rd at Mountain Park Dragway in Clay City, Kentucky. This event will feature the Hot Shot's Secret Diesel Drag Racing Series and the NHRDA Diesel Sled Pulling Series.

"Thoroughbred Diesel is one of the biggest names in the diesel industry and being able to partner with them for this brand new event, which is in their backyard, is great. With a partner like Thoroughbred Diesel we can make this event one of the biggest diesel events in the country," said NHRDA President Randy Cole.

"As a company we have hosted an in house event for the last 9 years. One thing we have always prided ourselves on was the organization and structure of how the event ran throughout the day. We have entertained the possibility of expanding our event for several years now, but until now, we were not confident that we could provide that same level of awesomeness to an event of this magnitude," said Thoroughbred Diesel Owner, Dennis Craig.

"Additionally we have attended events all over the country for the last 5 years, and one common theme we have always seen is how flawlessly NHRDA events are run. So when the guys and gals from the NHRDA gave us a ring this winter about hosting an event in Kentucky, it was a no brainer. This was the perfect partnership for us to be able to deliver the type of event to our customer that we think you want and quite honestly deserve."
