Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) on June 21 rejoined the National Democratic Alliance. Earlier in the day, Jitan Ram Manjhi, HAM Chief Santosh Suman met Home Minister Amit Shah. The meeting took place two days after HAM announced the withdrawal of its support from Bihar’s Mahagathbandhan. They also submitted the letter of withdrawal to Bihar’s Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar “There is a consensus among us and from today we will be a part of the NDA. We will work with Bihar to strengthen the NDA across the country and will overthrow Nitish Kumar’s government in Bihar. We have formally agreed to stay with NDA today,” Santosh Suman told ANI.
