Giuseppe Concone (1801 - 1861) was a vocal teacher from Italy. He lived in Paris for around a decade, but eventually returned to Turin-where he was originally from-and remained there for the rest of his life.
He is best known for his excellent vocal exercises, but he also wrote a little bit for piano as well. 25 Melodic Studies Op.24 (25 Études mélodiques) are a great example of small etudes with a purposeful focus on a particular challenge. Accompanied by a nice harmony (as the name suggests) it makes a fantastic and often overlooked set of etudes.
Check out my other playlists. I regularly upload pieces by many other composers. Just trying to help all piano students of any age.
