Recorded at the SRF International Headquarters in Los Angeles, this Christmas Open House follows in the many-years-old tradition of welcoming SRF members and friends to the SRF Mother Center (established by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1925 as the headquarters of his worldwide work) for a joyful gathering of divine fellowship in the sacred vibrations of the Christmas season.
Paramahansa Yogananda was sent by his line of gurus to the West in 1920 to spread in this modern age the ancient science of Kriya Yoga. One of the aspects of his mission was to teach the underlying unity of the original teachings of Jesus in the New Testament and the original teachings of Yoga given by Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita.
