Australia has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, putting it on track to start a mass inoculation drive in February. The country plans to vaccinate priority groups first, with a target of immunising 80,000 people a week. The elderly, adults with underlying medical conditions and the indigenous population will be first in line. Only those aged 16 and above can receive the jab.
