When Tim sent us these Malaysian noodles to try - we thought why not make a day of it? So that's exactly what we did! We both love soupy noodles so this video was right up my alley. We tried three noodles: Pan Mee, Penang Favorite Ah Lai White Curry Noodle, and Maggi Asam Laksa for breakfast, lunch and dinner! It's fun to continue our series of trying snacks from different countries, and this time we got a little taste of the noodles and noodle preference. As Chinese Americans, we want to expand our cultural knowledge, and try things from different countries, as that is a way to learn about someone's food habits and culture and get a slice of their preferences! To us, this series is super important and interesting, because we get to explore foreign countries (in this case Malaysia) from our home in California! This video sparked a lot of interest from us because there was so much crossover in noodles that we grew up with and what Malaysians enjoy.
