Pyaasi is the voice of the river Kaveri, a lament of a mother whose children have forgotten that they are brothers and sisters. Written about a two-hundred-year-old conflict, this song is Swarathma's best-loved one. It speaks of human beings who believe they control nature, while the truth is quite the opposite.
