The National Health System (NHS) inspired the creation of the Unified Health System (Sistema Nacional de Saúde, SUS) in Brazil. While very alike, each NHS has its peculiarities, and these differences motivated our researchers to go to Scotland to learn more about the successfull experiences of the NHS Scotland (and to compare this System to SUS as well!).
In this video, divided in three parts, we address technology financing and health technology assessment (HTA) (Part 1); an innovative project to support medicine prescription (Part 2); and the evaluation of health outcomes from the incorporation of health technologies using information systems and "Big Data" techniques (Part 3).
