Russia Downs Ukrainian Fighters, While Ukraine Repels Russian Attacks | Russia Vs Ukraine War Update

Russia said Saturday its forces hit Ukrainian forces, ammunition depots, fighters and military equipment in multiple directions, while Ukraine claimed it repelled Russian attacks.

Russian offensives in multiple directions such as Kupyansk and Krasny Liman inflicted damage on the manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a daily briefing on Saturday.

Meanwhile, in the Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian ammunition depots. In Kherson, they destroyed Ukrainian U.S.-manufactured M777 howitzers. In addition, Russian air forces and air defense forces shot down several Ukrainian fighters in the Donetsk and Kherson region.
