Most weapons can be upgraded or created from the parts that you find. Seeing how the weapon stats change as you scroll through you parts as you do so. Parts can also be scrapped to give you cost pieces to use the stuff you really want. Initial release has a glitch with displaying the weapon addons occasionally. Also have to press left to get cursor to initially move to the part selection area, but that is minor.
