Sorry for some of the quality and speech in this video I am bored on Quarantine and decided to Make my own repair video. I have had this Troy Bilt Bronco for some time and have fixed almost everything on it. It is a Troy Bilt so if you are watching this you understand. My tractor was slowly over time losing its pull especially uphill and on my first mow of the season of course I started to get this awful screeching sound coming from the front drive pulley to the point to tractor stopped completely. I figured it was probably the main drive belt, but after replacing this I found that it was in fact the Variable Speed Pulleys bearings. I didn't go in depth with the tensioner spring. you need to take this off before you put your belts back on then put the spring back on to tighten the upper transmission pulley. I found out the hard way that you have to loosen the variable speed pulley in order to fit the drive pulley. so before you tighten this all the way when putting the belts back make sure that it is seated correctly then tighten down two black 10mm screws on the side. I am concluding the part numbers for the bearings, variable speed pulley, and belts( if needed). You can find these parts online at Troybilt.com if you cant access a good tractor repair shop nearby. I hope this video helps someone out there. Good luck and good mowing.
