The price of Gold has gone up to K200 per gram on the world market.
Manager of Small Scale Mining Training Centre, Sydor Utaeo recently congratulated Level 4 participants in Wau, Morobe Province, and encouraged them to grab that golden opportunity.
Utaeo said the valuable skills they have gained, can contribute meaningfully to the development of the small scale mining industry in the county.
The students were also encouraged to help others with valuable information about the industry, including proposals to get their mining lease from the government authorities.
Thirteen students graduated with their Level 4 attainment certificates.
