This episode of our "Sports Dissected" series takes us into the University of Houston’s football equipment room to learn how they prepare footballs for NFL Pro Day. Evan Tucker, the assistant director of equipment operations, walks us through a process called “mudding.” As the name implies, one of the steps in this process involves the actual application of mud to the exterior of the football.
