Watch live as SpaceX test fires a Falcon 9 at launch pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. Ignition of the nine Merlin first stage engines is expected at 9:37 p.m. EDT (0137 UTC).
The Falcon 9 is scheduled to launch a Crew Dragon capsule this Sunday on a commercial mission to the International Space Station for Axiom Space, commanded by former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson. Paying passenger John Shoffner will serve as pilot of the mission. Two commercial space fliers from Saudi Arabia, Ali AlQarni and Rayyanah Barnawi, will also be onboard.
