Since 2016, the UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education has been rewarding outstanding and innovative projects advancing girls’ and women’s education. In 2023, the Prize recognizes a programme helping disadvantaged girls in China access equitable inclusive and quality education and skills training and another that works to get girls in Pakistan to go to and stay in school in some of the country's most challenging contexts.
