On our recent weekend trip to western North Carolina, we stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast in Valle Crucis, NC called The Mast Farm Inn. This historic award-winning inn has been welcoming guests since the 1800s. Named to the Historic Hotels of America listing and on The National Register of Historic Places, this inn features lovely accomodations and a delicious breakfast. We'll tour the facilities and the grounds and share with you our experience at Mast Farm Inn. The Inn is right down the road from another historic place named after the Mast family: the original Mast General Store. We will also show you what the General Store has to offer and what has made it a must see spot for tourists and locals for years.
