(5 Sep 2019) British Prime Minister Boris Johnson welcomed US Vice-President Mike Pence to Number 10, Downing Street on Thursday.
Pence's visit follows on from a trip to Iceland on Wednesday and Ireland earlier in the week, where he urged the country and the rest of the European Union to "negotiate in good faith" with Britain on Brexit.
Pence said Tuesday during a visit with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar in Dublin that the United States supports Britain's decision to leave the European Union and wants to see negotiations succeed.
