If you are asking for donations for your nonprofit, do not make this mistake! You need to understand what charitable solicitation registration is and why it matters for your nonprofit organization. You are required to register as a charitable organization in the majority of states if you are receiving contributions, which includes grants.
So....have you registered yet? Nonprofit fundraising can be hard enough on top of understanding all the rules and regulations. Make sure you do your due diligence to understand charitable solicitation requirements and how you can stay ahead of the curve for your non profit.
