Juniperus virginiana, some other names I found are,  eastern redcedar, red cedar,  Virginian juniper, eastern juniper,  Red juniper.
This tree has a long road ahead of it to be a great bonsai.

These trees are native to eastern north America.

I started getting serious about bonsai around 13 years ago.
I have always been into plants and was interested in bonsai since I was a kid. My first bonsai was 3 cuttings from a ficus that my great grandmother had as a house plant.
