The story of the physician, writer and educator Janusz Korczak and his educational legacy as expressed before and during the Holocaust.
The film accompanies an educational learning environment dedicated to Janusz Korczak and his deputy in the orphanage Stefania Wilczanska. The learning environment includes an overview of the lives of Korczak and Stefania and presents central values in Korczak's educational ideas and the way he and Stefa implemented them in the lives of their young wards. In addition, a lesson plan is suggested for teachers using two poems about Korzcak, presented together with a monument dedicated to him and located on the site of Yad Vashem.
