Aug 1st: Complete that all-important Common App essay and start filling out the application itself. It’s an exciting first step!
Aug 15th: Get those essays that most colleges require done and dusted. Pro tip: Why you’re applying to a specific major and college will likely come up!
Aug 31st: If you’re considering the University of California, complete the required essays from their options. It’s worth exploring!
Sept 1st: Take a deep breath and dive into the supplemental essays for each university. Pace yourself throughout the month.
Sept 15th: Don’t forget to report your SAT scores by this date, including any October attempts. Keep an eye on those deadlines!
Oct 1st: It’s crunch time! Aim to wrap up all supplemental essays. Use the 15-day buffer for Apply Texas if needed.
Oct 15th: This is an internal deadline for submission through Common App. Stay on top of recommendation letters and transcripts.
Nov 1st: Final date of submission (EAD). To maximize your options, consider applying to all schools in the EA round.
Nov 30th: Last chance for the University of California system. Procrastination not recommended—finishing earlier is beneficial!
