This is the last "big" thing left to do. The Special Battle must be fought for the Final Attack Materia, as well as the remaining Oversoul Shard I need to craft a certain weapon. This will be done in the next video, along with other leftovers.

As usual, you fight eight battles, but there are no handicap slots. Some are based on bosses, some on random enemies and a few are all new. The final battle is a fun little surprise. At level 99 this isn't difficult as long as you know when to put up Resist. Do it before the Materia Matriarch battle, as his Grand Cross inflicts a lot of statuses. I also test the newly acquired Dragon Force skill, which inflicts Haste, Regen and Auto-Critical in this mode. It costs a shitload of MP, but it's worth it.

I had to do this twice to be able to afford the ~Mystery Prize~, so I sped it up the second time. I have no idea why I entered the regular battle.

For some reason, this video went dark between 4:32 and 5:58. I have no idea why this happened, but I'm not going to redo the whole video because that would take more than one and a half hour including processing. You didn't really miss anything important, though. I gave the Double Cut Materia to Vincent because I forgot to do it before saving and I set ATB mode back to Active. When talking to the woman behind the counter she says something about being ready to take on The Champion and that you have to fight to find out who he is. In the beginning of the Motorsaurus battle, he uses his regular attack on Cait and it paralyzes him. Before that, I have Cait select Bolt3 and Quake3. That's about it. The battle begins at 5:45.
