Immerse yourself in the magnificent architecture of Chicago like never before. Experience this new perspective by riding along on a custom-built first-person view drone as it zips through the heart of the Windy City. In this video, I dive down Willis Tower, which at 1451 feet tall held the title of the world's tallest building for 25 years. I fly up the Chicago river and pay a visit to Marina City and Trump Tower. I continue out to Lake Michigan where I find spectacular skyline views including the John Hancock Center, Lake Point Tower, and Navy Pier. This is my tribute to the beautiful city of Chicago. A note on safety:
All flights were conducted in uncontrolled, class G airspace. A visual observer was used at all times while flying. Any instances of flight over people or moving vehicles were momentary in nature and flown with FAA part 107 category 1 compliant drones. Night operations were conducted with flashing anti-collision lighting.
I have been flying FPV drones for over 7 years with hundreds if not thousands of hours of experience. Do not try to recreate these acts without the proper knowledge, training, and experience to do so safely.
