The recent rain to hit the south west of England wasn't enough to deter people from making the trip to the West Somerset Railway for their final event of the year, the Winter Steam Festival. This event would be the first true all chimney first gala for the railway, with five locos making use of the turntable at Minehead and the triangle at Norton Fitzwarren. The locos in use were all from the home fleet, those in use were:-
