An interview with Eva Egron-Polak, former Secretary General and Senior Fellow of the International Association of Universities. This interview followed the IEG-hosted panel discussion "The Future of Higher Education in the Global Economy" in which IEG presented its evaluation of World Bank Group support to Higher Education.
Among the topics discussed in this interview are the use of employability as a quality assurance metric, life-long learning, and the role of institutions such as the World Bank Group in helping countries adapt higher education priorities to a changing global employment marketplace.
