In this week's repair and restoration video, I restore an antique bathroom scale dated from the 1930's that was rusty and incredibly dirty. It even had a few families of spiders living comfortably inside. It wasn't working when I first got it however, after handling it for a while, the mechanism must have broke free and it worked pretty well. The project ended up being more body work than anything but it turned out absolutely beautiful. You will not believe the difference between the start and finish of this project.

This one has it all - rust removal and treatment, metal work, wood working, painting, zinc plating, nickel plating, and a special guest appearance by my favorite person in the whole world.
