Chennai Peripheral Ring Road (CPRR) Ennore Port – Thatchur 25km stretch construction update
Chittoor–Thatchur, newly numbered as NH716B, is a 117-kilometre (73 mi) planned and upcoming green field access controlled expressway in India. The expressway will be part of Bharatmala Pariyojana and will start at Keenatampalli near Chittoor and terminate at Thatchur near Ponneri Chennai

133.38 km Chennai Peripheral Ring Road (CPRR) by TNRDC is an under construction 6 lane access-controlled expressway with a route alignment in Tamil Nadu connecting Ennore Port – Mahabalipuram.
This new greenfield expressway with 5 sections will be Chennai’s 4th Ring Road. It will connect the towns of Singaperumalkoil, Sriperumbudur, Tiruvallur, Tamaraipakkam, Periyapalayam, Puduvoyal and Kattupalli at an estimated cost of Rs 12,301 crore.
The expressway has a deadline of 2025 and will be connected with NHAI’s under construction Bangalore Chennai Expressway and Chittoor – Thatchur Expressway projects. Its Detailed Project Report (DPR) was created by STUP Consultants
