Transport operator SMRT is assisting the police with investigations after a commuter attempted to pry open a train door on Wednesday (Nov 29).

SMRT said its station staff were alerted at about 1pm on Wednesday to "a male commuter who was in a dress deliberately trying to force open the train door while a train was about to move off".
