8 people have been arrested for the murder of 5 alleged criminals at the Winnie Mandela informal settlement in Delft at the beginning of this month.

Meanwhile, the residents accuse police of refusing to patrol in their community, citing the area is not recognised.

However, Western Cape police have refuted the allegations, saying it's their constitutional mandate to serve and protect.
