President Biden and his family spent their final holiday in St. Croix before he leaves the White House next month.
The president did not speak to reporters Tuesday before boarding Air Force One en route to Philadelphia International Airport.
The trip has become an annual one for the Bidens. It's the third year in a row the president and his family have traveled to St. Croix for the New Year's holiday.
While this is his final holiday as president, Biden is expected to visit Rome in January to meet with Pope Francis and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni before his term in office ends.
