Meet Mike Gabriel and Tom Gabriel, two brothers that grew up with Disney and became Disney Cast Members in different areas. Being in a military family they moved around the country but Mike learned his love for drawing. At the same time, they lived in Salina Kansas and Tom followed in his footsteps and worked at Disneyland when he lived in Huntington Beach California.
Listen as Mike tells you what it is like to interview to be a Disney Animator and how he interviewed over 8 times before finally joining the Disney Team in 1979.
Tom is a Disney Imagineer and does editing for new Disney rides and new Disney Attractions. He has worked on projects for Hong Kong Disneyland, Walt Disney World Resort, and Disneyland in California. Tom moved to Windermere Florida and will be at the Disney Lake Nona campus when it opens in 2026.
