In this video we are going to share how we train a young mule. Much like training horses, mules need clear consistency and above all you have to build a solid trusting relationship with your equine partner.
If you've been watching our channel for a while than you are very familiar with our new molly mule, Josey! We figured it was time for a training update!
We have owned Josey for five weeks now and have been consistently working with her during that time. If you remember, she wasn't halter broke when we purchased her. She was pretty timid towards us, but quickly started to warm up and even seek attention.
We are going to show you what we have been doing with her so far and also introduce her to some new scary objects to show how to utilize the natural curiosity in a young equine! We will keep posting updates and bring you all along with her journey from a scared unhandled yearling to a confident mountain mule!
It really helps us out if you like and subscribe! Be sure to leave a comment if you have any questions, suggestions or a good story about your mule or horse!
As always thank you for watching!
God Bless!
