This outing was filmed back in January 2020. I headed back to one of my favourite forests to spend time in, Rothiemurchus.

I spent the morning wandering around photographing some of the ancient Caledonian Scots Pine trees and some other areas of the forest. This area of a Scotland has some of the oldest trees in the UK, some of which are over 300 years old and are descendants from the very first Scots Pines to arrive in Scotland Post the Ice Age. A truly magical part of Scotland to explore.
