RENSSELAER -- A 23-year-old Rensselaer man is facing more than a dozen felony charges for allegedly having sex with a 13 and 14-year-old girl. John Halacy of 2nd Street was arrested on Monday.Investigators say he raped the two teens between December 1, 2012 and February 8, 2013. It's unknown if Halacy knew his victims.He's been charged with five counts of felony Rape, eight counts of Criminal Sex Act, five counts of felony Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, felony Use of Child in a Sexual Performance, and two counts of Sexual Abuse. Halacy was arraigned in the Rensselaer City Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail. He will return to court on February 22.
