My very 1st ever game mammal down with a high power rifle not a muzzleloader. Good to be carrying my .308 because I hate muzzleloaders. Big billy on the ground. I wanted him to drop where he stood on the ledge. All I saw was legs in the air after the shot but he tumbled off the ledge and was too dangerous to recover. Excited but bummed at the same time. We try our best but that's how hunting goes sometimes. Zailea spotting all the goats again. She spotted a nice spotted goat. The goats here are not scared of gun shots like in the muzzleloader units and they hang around after shots are fired. We spotted a handful of goats after the shot but they were in places that we wouldn't be able to recover if shot.
